London Climate Action Week (LCAW) returns from 20th to 28th June 2026, and with hundreds of events spread across nine days, knowing where to be is half the challenge. This guide to London Climate Action Week 2026 brings together the sessions worth your time, including the three events AlliedOffsets is hosting and a shortlist of standout events from across the wider program.

Whether it is your first LCAW or your eighth, use this as a starting point for planning the week.

What is London Climate Action Week?

LCAW is the largest city-wide climate festival in Europe and one of the busiest weeks in the global climate calendar. It runs as an open platform: the organizers set the dates and main program, and hundreds of organizations host their own events under the LCAW banner.

- Founded in 2019
- Around 45,000 attendees each year
- More than 700 events in 2025

The full schedule lives on the official LCAW program. This guide is a curated route through it.

We are hosting three events across the week, from a policy panel on carbon removals to an evening of drinks.

Building the CDR market of tomorrow

24th June, 9:00 to 11:00am

Carbon dioxide removal (CDR) is at an inflection point. As voluntary CDR markets mature and compliance frameworks take shape, not least here in the UK, the question of how to build markets that are credible, scalable and policy-coherent has never been more pressing.

This event brings together experts from across science, policy and market development for a panel discussion and Q&A. The morning opens with a networking breakfast, followed by a short introduction to TRACEcdr, an interactive monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) and carbon accounting tool developed by the Grantham Research Institute at LSE and powered by AlliedOffsets.

Panellists include Jonathan Lindsell (DESNZ), Paul Zakkour (Carbon Counts), Mai Bui (Supercritical) and Anton Root (AlliedOffsets).

Connect over Carbon: Networking Drinks

25th June, 18:00 to 21:00

After a busy week of panels and meetings, join us for a relaxed evening of drinks and networking. AlliedOffsets, Forliance and Offset8 Capital are bringing together professionals from across carbon markets and the wider sustainability space for an informal gathering. A chance to connect over a pint (or two) with others working across the sector.

Breakfast and Learn: Carbon, Coffee, and Cards

26th June, 9:00 to 11:00am

Join AlliedOffsets and Nature Broking for a data-led breakfast covering the voluntary carbon market in 2026 so far. Maria, Data Lead at AlliedOffsets, will share the latest trends across retirements, issuances, pricing, offtake activity and investment flows, with a close look at where the market is growing across nature-based and technological methodologies.

Luke Baldwin, CEO of Nature Broking, will bring a complementary market perspective, sharing insights from their work with buyers and suppliers and reflecting on how evolving trends are shaping transactions and strategies.

Following the presentations, we will dive into Nature Broking's Carbon Card Game, a hands-on tool for understanding carbon markets, natural capital and sustainability regulation. Just 60 cards, small tables led by a Nature Broking expert, and a lot of discussion.
